In 2019, Madrid settled down a new law that prohibits non-electric cars to park
in its central area. Diesel cars were not even allowed to pass through the center of the city. And the ones who broke the new law, got a 90 euros fine.
On the very first day of the restriction, Smart, who only manufacturs electric cars, launched apress and outdoor campaign making its advantage very simple and clear.
